The New Forest District Council has spent £2,189,000 on buying land at a site off Crow Lane. The rest of the money will be spent on "construction of five single-storey industrial units and a pair of two-storey office blocks that fledgling companies can rent out, as well as external units and parking areas.". The project has been under discussion for two years. The target is to complete construction by the end of 2022.
