The first meeting of the Ringwood Shopkeeeprs Association took place at the Original White Hart pub in Ringwood's Market place this evening.
The meeting, convened to set up the association, was well attended by some 30 shopkeepers
Also in attendance was the town mayor, Tony Ring and district councillor Jeremy Heron. Their presence gave the members of the association an opportunity to express their robust views about the difficulties the town centre will face for the next year with a seriously constricted traffic flow and an existential threat to many of the shops in the town centre.
